Cider Recipes

Post by Jim W » Tue Sep 09, 2008 5:23 pm

Well, for a guy that loves Strongbow, and just had a case sent to me, I am going to have to miss Ciderpalooza.
I thought I might ask for some various posts about cider techniques and recipes. Please post what you know. I thought we had a string last year, but I cannot find it. It all looks pretty simple. My neighbor made some last year, that is tasty and sweet, I would like to duplicate that, and then make a batch that is closer to Strongbow.

I'm a newby when it comes to making cider. I used store bought cider last year and it turned out OK I guess. I pitched the yeast into the home-pressed cider this morning after adding 3 cups of corn sugar and some yeast nutrient.
Now we wait......
