Please pass the word around about this program coming up in June.
The Evansville-Vanderburgh Public Library will highlight four books throughout the summer reading program and pair programming with each book. The first book, for June 1st-14th, is “Dirty Life” - about homemade/home grown products.
On June 11th, 6:30pm, at the Central Library, local homebrewer Michael Erwin will present the ancient art and modern science of beer brewing in a basic introduction to homebrewing. What is the difference between an ale and a lager? How are barley and other grains used to make beer? Where does the alcohol in beer come from? What are the 23 different styles of beer?

Homebrewing presentation at the library, June 11th

------------
Some people say the glass is half empty.
Some say it's half full.
I just want to know who's drinking my damn beer!

I've got a fairly lengthy paper I put together on the history portion if you are interested in reading it before hand. It's written from various primary sources.
What would Jesus Brew?
