OH CANADA

A week's worth of reporting from the Canadian Rockies from Calgary through Banff and finally Jasper. Had some really good cider including standard cider, peach cider and chery cider [the latter two with an apple base and added flavoring] - I assume. All were very good - the cherry Very Good. Most came from a region called OKANOGAN [close to US Washington border].
Also visited two microbrews Banff brewing co and Jasper brewing co.
All I can say is that we have the best brewers around!!!
There was Blueberry wheat, Pils, Black Lager, Honey Wheat, 6666 and NOTHING had that "I want to stay here and make an evening of it taste!"
Scenery WOW!, food so-so and very expensive [14$ for a burger?], weather 40's to 60's and not very sunny for the 8 days we were there. Some really good easy day-hiking!

You're making me homesick!

Not for the mediocre beer, though.
