I'm in Seattle drinking a Bear Republic Hop Rye Ale. In the fridge I have Firestone Walker Union Jack IPA, Ninkasi Believer Double Red Ale, and Bridgeport Highland Ambush Scotch Ale. Hmmm, decisions, decisions....

I'm sitting at the bar at Elysian Brewing Company in Seattle having a pint of The Wise, a fine representation of an ESB. One of the three brewers, Kevin Watson, a former homebrewer, was kind enough to give me a tour. I'm going to try a sampler next.

I'm sitting at the bar at the Beverage Place in West Seattle (www.beverageplacepub.com) drinking a Dogfish Head Rare Draft Flight. It has Chateau Jiahu, Pangaea, Black & Blue, Burton Baton, and World Wide Stout.

Good stuff. I had one I nursed for about five years. I still open it up every now and then, but only vapors are left.
