Saturday 03/19 I plan on starting around Noon. Going to brew the last Extract Kit before going All Grain. This will be an Octane IPA that will be Kegged in a couple of weeks.

I have a few of my others bottled but feel free to BYO.

Any new brewers wanting to see an Extract Brew first before they experience an All Grain are welcome.

PM me for directions or phone number. Remember I live in Madisonville Ky just off the Pennyrile Parkway, About 45min south of Evansville.

Everyone Welcome.

Thanks,
Might I suggest some Rice Hulls.
"Rice Hulls are used to aid in filterability when you are doing all-grain brewing and using a high percentage of wheat or oats. They do not impart any flavor to the finished beer. Use at a percentage not greater than 5% of the total grain bill."
A lot has to do, also, with the type of collector in your mash/tun. When I used a SS braided tube, I didn't have too much problem when using that much wheat, but still a little. With a false bottom it's really advisable.
Don't make the same mistake I did the first time I used Coriander seeds, you need to crack them before putting them in the boil. (No one told me)

Good luck

COOL, of course I have no idea how much I'll need. I have 9.5lbs of grain. Anyone have a guess?

Let me be the first to officially resign,
I'm starting a new club named Brewers of Indiana Live "BOIL" and our official shirt color will be black!
