Ball Lock Kegs
I'm getting ready to order two reburbished kegs from SABCO. If there is an interest, I'll order a four pack. Let me know as I'll be ordering no later than tomorrow, Feb 4.

One or two? If anyone else wants some, I can order more than one 4-pack.Jason Stoermer wrote:I am willing to go in on that order with you. Let me know what I owe you.

I couldn't answer fast enough for Jeff, but I'm going to order two of these in the next week or so, if anybody else wants some.

Their lag time for shipping was kind of long ( a week), but the kegs are in fine condition. I like that they are already reconditioned and the outside buffed.

Re: Ball Lock Kegs
Is anyone interested in going together to order some kegs? They appear to be in good condition. I e-mailed the seller and they will sell a dozen for $37.50 each. Shipping for the lot would be $81 or $6.75 each. Total cost per keg with shipping would be $44.25. If there is enough interest I will arrange.
9/26/2012 Update:
The same seller has two grades of ball lock kegs. Also, I see they have pin locks for those who might be interested. I'm sure we could mix and match for to get a discount and save on shipping. Again, let me know.

Re: Ball Lock Kegs
I'm probably going to go ahead and order a couple of these kegs in the next few days. Let me know if you'd like combine orders to save on shipping.
11/7/12 Update:
It looks like 7 kegs is the sweet spot for shipping...$5.91 per keg, 6 is $6.33 and 4 is $8.46.
Here's the e-bay web site. I've contacted the seller previously and he offered them at $37.50 each. This would bring the shipped cost to between $44 and $46 depending on the number ordered. I will place the order Friday afternoon.

Re: Ball Lock Kegs
Jeff,
I may be interested in one as well. I'm new to kegging (brand new) but I'm really eager to get going with it!!! Are they reconditioned and ready to sanitize and fill? Also, are you in the Evansville area? I'm also new to the OVHA so bear with me. I need to get to the meetings to get to know you guys.
Thanks,
Adam

They aren't reconditioned, but they are guaranteed to hold pressure. You can get a set of new rings at the co-op or online. They appear to be in pretty good condition. I am in Evansville.evilleadam wrote:Jeff,

Re: Ball Lock Kegs
Thanks for the info. It looks like a keg is not in the cards for me this week. I'm hoping something comparable will be available in the near future!
