My buddy aged a bottle of Chimay Blue for 11 years before I randomly grabbed it when he told me get a beer. I had never drank a chimay before apparently. Dry and fruity is an understatement and it is definately worth the wait to start one yourself.

Also drank one of the best tripels I've ever had - ondineke oilsjtersen 8.5%. :beer11

I tried to find their place a couple of weeks ago but the crowd of people and cars was too much for me. We got the hell outta Nashville, at 5 mph...

Not exactly on topic, but I thought I'd share the results of some extensive testing I've been doing recently.

If you use a half-pint glass and you don't fill it all the way, and then round to the nearest pint, you can really get a buzz drinking nothing at all.

Some people say the glass is half empty.
Some say it's half full.

You're quite the mathamagician Michael. Keep those half pints disappearing.
You gonna buy one, or be one?

Prohibition Porter, Pale Rider Ale, and seasonal Octoberfest at Capital City Brewing Company, Washington DC. The perfect ending to a Rally to Restore Sanity with 250,000 of my closest friends.

Saturday night I had a couple fish bowls of Two Brothers Hop Juice at Gerst Haus. The 9.9% ABV kind of sneaks up on you!

If you're ever in West Seattle, you'll want to check out the Eliott Bay Brewery and Pub. Great beer and food. I'm going to visit Pike Brewing today.

I thought you went out there to spend some quality time with your new grandson?

All new grandparents need to occasionally recharge the batteries. Today I recharged them at Pike Brewery. Dean Mochizuki, the assistant head brewer, gave me a tour of brewery. It was very cool. The Kilt Lifter scotch ale was pretty good too. Oh yeah, my grandson is awesome too.
