Beer & Wine tasting @ Holy Redeemer: Nov 20, 6 p.m.

Post by john mills » Fri May 07, 2010 9:27 am

Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 918 W. Mill Rd, Evansville, is puting together a beer and wine tasting event to be held on November 20 at 6:00 pm. They're in the process of holding a contest to get this event named. If anyone has any suggestions for names post them here, and I'll turn them in. The naming contest ends May 12. The winning submission will get 2 free tickets to the event. Advanced sale tickets are priced at $20 each, $25 at door.

My suggestions so far are St. Arnold's Cup or Sheafs & Vine Fest.

I'm not one to be preaching the gospel, but it gets my attention when they start talking about Jesus turning water into wine.
Sure beats the Kool Aid Jim Jones was serving.

Probably. I have a coffee stout and a pseudo-Oktoberfest.

I'm not sure exactly how many will be there, maybe 10-20 people. I'm not sure there are many in the group know what craft beer really is. They possibly think it's that new Golden Wheat by Budweiser.

The ticket sales kick off tasting will take place in the school cafeteria - 918 W.Mill Rd (behind Wesselman's on 1st Ave). I'll bring tasting cups.
Can't miss an opportunity to drink beer in a school cafeteria.
