I'll be brewing tomorrow a.m. for anyone who wants to stop by. I'm gonna brew a Blonde Ale, all-grain, for my sister who tolerates most of my beers and asked me to brew something similar to the commercial American beer she usually drinks. I am going to use the recipe out of BCS but replace the American 2-row with Marris Otter since that is what I have in stock. I think it will still come out alright.

Feel free to come by and hang out, here's my cell (618)322-6594.

Also, I would be glad to hear any tips about brewing this style.
If your beer doesn't come out exactly right, call a brew-over!

Brewing this Sunday or Monday (depends when the new grandson pops out)
I may need help, It's been 8 to 10 weeks since my last brew, not sure I can remember all the procedure.
Going to make a Northern Brown for my brother.
Will post time and date after I see the newone!

That would be a great official state beer. I wonder if Indiana would designate an official state beer? We have state tree, flower, bird, enem pie, how about BEER? Let's start lobbying our representatives to designate an official state beer. After all we had "Amber waves of grain" on our license plates for a few years. I'd love to see IPA or die

Good idea,John.

I strongly agree.Might be a good project for O.V.H.A. and related organizations.I believe lots of people would be willing to help.I,for one.

All grain brewing Saturday morning for anyone who wants to stop by. I'll start early so as to finish before noon (I hope!). 5901 Ashbrooke Rd. (by Central HS).

Epic Pale Ale - recipe from "The Jamil Show, Can you Brew it?"

75 minute boil, 8oz Cascade hops with increasing charges from 7g at start to 57g at flame out and then dry hopped. Wyeast 1272 American Ale II.

All bean coffee brewing will commence at sunrise!
If your beer doesn't come out exactly right, call a brew-over!
