Dwayne brought this up last meeting. If anyone would like to take a short overnight kayak/canoe trip to test out gear, etc post here. We'll figure out a date.
This would be a Sunday-Monday trip to avoid the crowds. We would NOT be staying in the campground. This is a backcountry trip. Bring your TP. I believe Dwayne said there is a nice spot over by the dam to camp.

There is no fee to backcountry camp but I believe there is a $5 parking fee.
