Brewed an experimental Winter Wit with some non-traditional choices of ingredients. I also added some aroma hops unlike most versions, but I like hops.
Not sure how it will taste, but it sure smelled good going into the fermenter.
It was a beautiful brewday for February.

7.50 lb Wheat Malt
0.75 lb Barley, Flaked

Saturday was a great brew-day for February!!
Everyone should of been out there brewing yesterday.
Trying to catch up on to my brew schedule I still have 3 more brews to do in the next 4 weeks. All in preparation of the Annual Heisler Beer Fest April 17Th.
I may need to catch the brew-flu a couple of times in the next weeks.

Saturday I restocked my Oatmeal Stout
I installed a new temperature sensor in my RIMS and built a new mounting for my pump. Ended up with over 85% Eff.

Thanks John for the malt (seams like every time I need a little something and go to the CO-OP they don't have it either) I need to just start stopping by John's house first and save my gas.

Beautiful day of brewing.
I couldn't make up my mind about an American IPA or Belgian IPA, so I made both. A split batch with about 6 gallons each. I tripple hopped it with Columbus, Centennial, and Amarillo.
Yes I tried to turn it green with hops, but they soaked up all the wort before it turned green. I swear I squeezed at least a galllon from those wort sponges!
