Cleaned out my refrigerator and found a Wyeast 1728 Scottish Ale, dated October 08.
I have revived year old yeast before but I don't have any need for this style yeast in my next several batches.
If anyone wants it I will bring it to the meeting on Wednesday, otherwise I'll turn it into yeast nutrient.

Re: Free (old) yeast
I'll take it Don. I once nursed a wyeast irish ale 2 yes past it's date back to life.
I've already had plans of making a malty/Scottish type ale with some of the Breiss cherry smoked malt I picked up. I'm also planning on trying my hand at yeast ranching so hopefully I could streak a plate for future generations.

You gonna buy one, or be one?
