I got a call tonight from Great Fermentations about the beers I enter, and it seems like this year they had a problem with some of them.
I had one of my bottles broken. She said in all the years they have been helping out this is the first time the had any trouble and broke a beer.

It just so happens my son stopped in the store a few minutes later and she told him that they had six bottles broken this year.
They are still going to enter my beer for competition but since I don't have any more at home, it won't be able to go to best of show, since I'm a bottle short. (I don't think that's such a big deal anyway).
It's nice they called and told me what happened.

If this was medieval times, I would never let go of my beer!
It's the only weapon I have.

If you want to store some beer at my house I promise only to break one (open) every so often too!
You gonna buy one, or be one?
.....I'm gonna be one!

After tasting yours last week, I don't know why you would want my beer?

My big #50 batch is coming up next Thursday.
This will be by 50th. batch (5 and 10 gals) since I started keep track of my brews in April 07'.

I have a Big Imperial Stout planned (thanks to your help John).
What do you think about adding a little Chocolate?

Hershey's coco powder might be fine. I think I've personally sworn off its useage. Makes one giant mess. If more chocolate flavor is what you're after I would cut down on the roasted grain bill and increase the chocolate malt up to a half pound each.
You gonna buy one, or be one?

I have heard of people using cocoa (cacoa?) nibs in beers with success.
