S.W.I.R.C.A. Festival 2006

I met with to Judy Freson at SWIRCA today. We would like to schedule a meeting to discuss the festival next Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Which day would be best for everyone? Judy would like to meet about 5:00pm.

I didn't hear from anyone, but we have scheduled a meeting for Tuesday, May 16, at 5:30PM. It is at SWIRCA.

It didn't. Nobody showed but Judy & me. Not even SWIRCA people. I suggested we cancel the festival, but SWIRCA want to have it. I'll let you know when another meeting is scheduled.

Can't make the meeting tonight, stuck in Indy again.
All is not lost though, Rockbottom has $2 pint night tonight.

For those that missed it, Judy left us a letter she sent out to area Craft Brewers. I'll scan it in and post it soon. The fest runs from 6-10 p.m. There will be Vintners there this year serving their wine. Not sure how many since this happens during grape harvest time. We're going to try and move the event to May in 2007.

I'll sticky this thread to keep it up top. Please add info as you get it. I've not been to one of these yet so I don't know what all needs to be done.

If wanted, I could make up some OVHA business cards with our logo, web address, and meeting schedule on them to hand out at the summer brew festivals.

I've almost got the big 12x18 posters done. I think I can get several printed here at work. I'll post the file once it gets approved. Then I'll start on a page for the website.
