Vacation Beers

Post by Don » Mon Mar 30, 2009 8:55 pm

I'm leaving for Charlotte in a couple of days to help celebrate my brothers 60th.(Birthday)
His son-in-law knows I brew and he loves craft beers himself, this is what I have waiting for me.

Hey Don-

I am looking forward to your arrival this weekend. I wanted to get your input on the beer list.

I have the following:

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Sam Adams Boston Lager
Sam Adams Light
Founders Breakfast Stout (night time)
Also, I got some beers for you to try or take home:
Ommengang Abbey Ale
Dogfish Head Olde School Barleywine
Highland Gaelic Ale
Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout
Bell's Third Coast Old Ale

Any other suggestions?

I may not return, until the beer is gone anyway....

You can come to Charlotte, but Kathy and I are leaving from there for Gatlinburg.
Somehow I just don't think you would fit in there....

If I have any left on the 29th. I will bring it to the meeting.

Don,
I'll volunteer to pull a pint off your taps every couple of days while your gone to keep 'em from sticking up. So that upon your return you don't have to spend considerable time and effort unsticking those blasted taps.
You gonna buy one, or be one?
.....I'm gonna be one!

That's what I like about our club members, everyone is always willing to help.

Key is under the mat help yourself.
Just leave enough for my brew fest on the 25th.
