Evansville Wartime Museum

Post by Dutch » Tue Oct 03, 2017 7:07 pm

The new EWM will be having a fund raising event November 4th at their hanger location. Due to the conflict I have with the TAFTB AHA event on that day Sky has agreed to take this on. We understand that this is short notice but this is for a very worthy cause. A beer donation/staffing spreadsheet will be posted shortly. This will be a relatively small event of some 200?
Post any questions or help offers here for the time being.

I will have 2 kegs of IPA to donate, does anybody have a keg of the club brewed barrel stout that they can donate?

Also I have confirmed there will be a pig roast at this event so it should be a pretty cool one if we could get a couple beers donated and some help serving.

I can't make it to the event, but I can donate a keg of the club barrel brew stout. I'll bring it to this month's meeting if you'll be there.

I'll donate some 2017 OVHA Quad, unbarreled, and probably some Patersbier. I'm uncertain at this point if I can help serve.

Any beer donations would be GREATLY appreciated.

maybe drop it at Turonis so they can keep it cool? I am moving and unfortunately cant get my keggerator out of my old basement which limits my ability to keep kegs cold.

The museum has advised me that OVHA volunteers/contributors are permitted to bring a guest/significant other/family member if they would like to as a thanks for our support.

I can donate about a 1/3 keg of Schwarzbier. I can take to Turonis, or bring to LTHD Saturday.

Thanks for the club participation for this event! This event was a super help for this "just starting out" museum and they have already contacted me to thank the club for our donations.

It was nice for an event we participate in to allow us to bring guests as a sign of gratitude.

Also, they donated the remaining plastic sampling cups to the club!

Bonus pics of the roasted pig!

Thanks for organizing it, Sky! It was definitely a success. For such a (relatively) small fundraiser, we raised about $105 in bead sales (90% did not even take beads).

Everyone, when you have a chance, check out the museum. It is worth your time.
