CIDERFEST 2017
Just wanted too post something to start discussions if there is any interest. Note any apples or other fruit available. I will not be able to crust/press from Aug 16-23rd. If anyone would like to use the equipment I can make it available?

The key to this adventure is to locate people who have apples e.g. Ask around and see if there are unattended trees.

Re: CIDERFEST 2017
Just back from my New Jersey three-day adventure with the S&S trailer and my vehicle filled with about 2500# of apples - all prime FUJI.
We will crush and press Sat Oct 28 with leftovers for Sunday or for those who have conflicts? We will give John Dipple's new Apple shredder mechanism a thorough workout!
All interested persons are welcome as well.
If anyone has any one-gallon clean plastic bottles let me know."pm" me with questions or for directions.
Here is a list of those signed up in no particular order.
JW-2, JD-4, KP-2, SB-2, JM-2, JM-2, CG-3, JF/AF-2, JeDu-4, DD-4, MJ-2 plus mine
If anyone want to add their name to the list YOU MUST LET ME KNOW so I can check how many left over we have.
We should probably start relatively early and take people as they are available? Bring a chair. It is certainly OK to come and watch the process.

Re: CIDERFEST 2017
I can't make it either day. Do I need to get you 10gal of containers for juice? Do you have a way to cool store it until I can pick up? Depending on time, I may be able to pick up Sun as we get back to town. I have a couple empty kegs. Maybe I can drop off Friday on way out of town.

The girls have cheerleading from 9-10 so I will be a little late. How late do you think we will be? We have a wedding at 5 in Henderson.
