Grains should have shipped today. I expect they will be delivered Wednesday.

Re: EB Grain Order
I thought the plan was to get 4 bags of base grain for the barrel brew?

Re: EB Grain Order
Actually I bought 7 bags, so there is plenty if you need more than 3 bags.msjulian wrote:I thought the plan was to get 4 bags of base grain for the barrel brew?

Re: EB Grain Order
Four brewers are going BIAB and bumping up with DME, so we'll actually end up using 149 lbs all together. That will put us 16lb under the 3 bag mark.

Re: EB Grain Order
It would be nice if the spare 16 was not milled if at all possible...

Hey Sky, I would be interested in splitting a bag of rice hulls if you want to get one the next time Jeff orders.

Re: EB Grain Order
Here's the recipe, Jeff. We have 13 brewers, 4 using DME -- which would reduce 5lbs of base grain per batch.BREWsmith wrote:How many gallons are you planning to brew?

I'll set it aside. I'll also not mill your portion.msjulian wrote:It would be nice if the spare 16 was not milled if at all possible...

Re: EB Grain Order
I don't want to make it more difficult on you... If it's easier to mill all 149 pounds together then shoot for that. I was just not sure how big your mill was.
