Since we are going to be brewing outside will somebody be bringing the club's popup canopies from Turonis for this event?

Re: 2017 Barrel Brew, March 4
We discussed it but did not assign someone. There won't be enough cover for all brewers and if weather looks bad we plan to go to Dutch's place with cover for all setups. So might be more trouble than it's worth.

I believe we still have 2 spots open; I'll let Cesar confirm that, but I think you're in!

I think I will need to pay my 2017 dues but I should be good to help brew.

I'm going to order the grains for your barrel brew on Thursday or Friday. If anyone would like to piggyback on this order, I'll post the new price list on the "buy, sell, trade" page. Shipping costs will be divided by the number of bags ordered.

I think I would like to do BIAB, is it too late for a DME order?

I think you have claim to the 3rd pack! Cesar said something about Jeremy using one, but I didn't see that in any of his posts, unless I overlooked it.n_ferrell wrote:I think I would like to do BIAB, is it too late for a DME order?
*update*
I got four packs of DME; Jeremy, Steve, Kenny, and Nate have claim to these.

Yeah!!
Let's start working down our checklist.
Food...check. I'll bring donuts and twinkles. Dutch is making smoked pork for lunch.
Bourbon...check. Chris will bring Knob Creek for the ceremonial dunking
Grain... Check. Josh has it and got 4 DME setups. I remember Steve, Nate & Kenny. Who was 4th?
Yeast...check. I just washed WLP530 last night. We'll have more from Jeremy, Josh & John right?
Fermenter...need to confirm it will be there and clean
What else do we need?
Hoses?
Tent cover...is it worth the trouble?
Electric..do we need power strips/extension cords?
BREWERS, remember to bring a HOP BAG so we don't clog the chill plate.

Yes, I will be washing my WLP500 later this week. I believe Jeremy & Josh will have their WLP530 as well.
I personally am not worried about the tent. Like Cesar said, there's not room for everyone anyway. If anyone wants to pick it up, that's up to them.
I will bring:
My RV hoses and charcoal filter in case we need it.
Heavy gauge extension cord and power strip.
BIAB grain hoist for anyone who would like to use it.
A few hop socks
Does anyone have a wireless Bluetooth speaker they would be willing to bring?
Has Jeff mentioned us using his plate chiller? If not, I can bring mine.
Pump? Once again, not sure if Jeff has offered this. I don't have one.
I will contact Jeff to see what he is comfortable letting us use.
Please chime in if you think of anything else we might need.

I have a pump and plate chiller. The only issue is I have quick disconnects. I plan on being totally self sufficient except water and electricity.
Is Jeff grinding the grain?
Do we need scale and buckets?

Michael, I have a message in for Jeff asking about those items. I will repost as soon as I hear back. I can bring several buckets for suremsjulian wrote:I have a pump and plate chiller. The only issue is I have quick disconnects. I plan on being totally self sufficient except water and electricity.
