Re: 2016 Nashville Brewery excursion
If it's going to take 3 hrs then I'd rather not do that. I can find something to eat on my own. Heck even fast food is food is fine. I've been to Flying Saucer so I don't want to spend 43% of the time in Nashville there. Maybe we can get a copy of the menu and have people choose on bus ride down. We can give to Saucer at noon when we get there so they can prepare. That could save TONS of time.

Re: 2016 Nashville Brewery excursion
Bob Jarrett has been in contact with Yazoo and they have offered a tour of the sour facility. I told him that I thought there would be interest in this. I know I want to.
Respond to this if you would go on such a tour so we can give them a little heads up number wise.

Re: 2016 Nashville Brewery excursion
Not to distract from the sour conversation ... But a few questions.
1. There is no set plan for lunch, right? Eat at breweries, local places or pack a lunch?
2. Can there be an option to be back at the bus by 4:45 if we want a ride to Flying Saucer versus walking?
3. Is there a bathroom on the bus??

1. It's my understanding that we're on our own for lunch. There are several restaurants in the area and the breweries also have food options.
3. There is a restroom in the bus.
2. This is the tentative bus schedule. We can nail down specifics with the driver when we meet him/her.
8:30AM: Begin loading at Civic Center parking log
9:00AM: Depart from Evansville
11:30AM: Arrive at Frugal MacDoogal
(We shop for a half hour or so and then load our stuff into the bus? Breweries aren't open at this time anyway.)
12:00PM: Driver parks the bus somewhere. I suggested a parking lot near Flying Saucer, but that's really up to the driver.

I would like to do the sour tour if there is a spot available.

Re: 2016 Nashville Brewery excursion
I think there are as many spots as we can fill. I just wanted to make sure there was enough interest since they are going out of their way. We are good to go. Exciting!
