I can get good prices on motors at work, but this has to be a geared motor to generate the torque needed. Typically the gear box is more than the motor. I will see what I can get something like this for. Edit- (belt driven would be another option to maintain torque).

How's about a automotive windshield wiper motor powered by a computer power supply? Maybe a $15 investment? I bet this combo would have enough torque. Maybe an electric automotive window operator also?

Grainger has about any size LoveJoy split couplers, makes it easy to connect different size shafts.
The important thing is to align the shafts horizontal and vertical.
Amazon has couplers also.
