2016 SMaSH experiment

The club will host a SMaSH experiment similar to the one we hosted a few years ago. Here's how it works: sign up on this board that you will brew with your shirt size. We will do a SMaSH tasing at the July meeting. Only one shirt per brewer (one beer, one shirt).

Please sign up below if you intend to brew. I will post a deadline soon!!! BREW THOSE SMaSH BEERS!!!!!

I'm also intending to brew mine this Saturday - also a Large shirt.

If all goes as planned, I intend on brewing a 8-9 gallon batch with Pilsen malt and Sterling hops. I will ferment in two separate carboys using two very different yeast strains.

**Edit** hops will be US Saaz. Co-op did not have Sterling

XL Shirt. I will likely brew with Two Row special pale and an Experimental hop. I was wanting to do a lager this year but ran out of time.

XL shirt, please. Will brew with Vienna malt and northern brewer hops. Probably using kolsch yeast.

Made 10 gal on Fathers Day. Special Pale & Experimental #07270. Claims to have tangerine & mandarin on nose and ripe peach, apricot & mango on tongue. At 16.6% AA we'll see. 1.062 OG. Fermenting like mad. Had to put in 50deg fridge to calm down.

Well, I don't seem to have a lot in stock. But I can make a half batch of pale ale with just Special Pale and the HBC 438 experimental hop. It's a native neomexicanus strain.
