Danstar BRY-97
I brewed basically a Gumballhead clone yesterday, and pitched rehydrated Danstar BRY-97 at 75 F. After 24 hrs, no sign of fermentation... It has cooled to 65 F since. I gave it a swirl and moved it to a slightly warmer room tonight. Anyone else experience lag time with this yeast?

Down around the ninth post a guy mentions that it can get off to a slow (3 day) start.

Re: Danstar BRY-97
I have not used this yeast before but I have had some strains that are slow to get started. The one thing to keep in mind is that the temp drop from 75 to 65 in 24 hours might have slowed the little buggers down in their growth process. As long as you have everything good and sanitized I would not be too worried yet. If you don't see any movement in another 48 hours you might want to pitch in a bit more to things going.

It's showing signs of life this morning. Those slow starts are just annoying.
