It was a collaboration brew between a brother, nephew, cousin and a couple of friends. My nephew works at a distributor in Louisville. He is the one that found the barrel. A lot of thanks goes to Don H. and Sky for information on the recipe and bourbon barrel cleansing and sanitation! Yes, I know, I am kissing Don's ass again but, he has a lot of great advice and knowledge! Looking forward to sharing the beer in the near future!

Do you have a name for your beer project. I'm sure it took a lot of work to get this all together. Look like it went well. Please keep us informed on the status.

Brewed the base for this year's Black Raspberry Ale. Pretty much an 8% triple and then we'll add the berries tonight.

Hefeweizen! Pitched a 1 liter starter of WLP 300 after it cooled down to 64. Let the bubbling begin!

Flanders red. Got the color right, hit the gravities, fermentation took off now the long wait begins to see if I got the fermentation right.
