Clever name! Maybe we should have a SMaSH only jockey box. Just remember to save a bit for the June meeting.
Thanks! I made 10 gal. One for Zoo Brew and one for me :-) and the SMaSH meeting. I plan to dry hop one. Not sure which one will go to Zoo Brew yet, prolly the non dry hop version.

Since I won't able to attend the event, can I drop off my keg during the meeting Wednesday?

Jeremy, in the past members have dropped kegs off at the Turonis brewery on main street to be held in the beer cooler until zoo brew. I'm pretty sure thats what we are doing again this year.

OK, Here are the plans for Zoo Brew!

If signed up to help set up:
Meet at 3pm Saturday at Turonis on Main Street. We will only need around 10 people or so at Turonis to load everything. Plan for around 30-45 minutes of loading and get to the zoo around 330-4. If you can't make it to Turonis then meet at the Zoo. We will be right past the main entrance on the left by the bathrooms.

Bring trucks, tie-downs, and handcarts for miscellaneous loading

The majority of help needed is for once we get to the Zoo setting everything up, getting the boards ready, running the lights, bringing the kegs in, getting them iced down and getting the draft flowing smoothly.

Be sure to wear your orange club shirts if you have them.

If you are bringing beer be sure to label it so we know what it is!

And remember, We will all be representatives of the OVHA at this event. We are all ambassadors for our club, so please be on your best behavior and remember to have fun!

If you have any questions feel free to message me here on the board, you can also contact me by email at skybuttrum@gmail.com or by calling or texting my cell phone at (812)760-1799

It would look good if ALL servers and workers wore a club shirt.

Thanks for the information Sky.

So I saw that you had me serving for Zoo Brew from 7-8 pm. I did not get a server's license so I'm not sure I'll be able to serve (which stinks because I'd like to do that). I did however put down that I'd set up and tear down but if there is a way I can help out the servers I will definitely be up for that. Whatever I can do to help during the Zoo Brew, just let me know. I'll also be at Turoni's to help load up as well so count me in.

Thanks!

No worries Steve! Without a servers license you will not be able to serve but there is plenty of other things to do with set up and tear down. And you can always share your love and knowledge of craft beer with the attendees during your scheduled serving time instead, people love to talk beer!
