Hop Rhizomes 2012

Post by Chris Alvey » Sun Jan 29, 2012 10:54 am

Does the club have plans to order rhizomes this year. I have someone who might want anywhere from 9 to 12 and was going to wait to see if the club did it to help meet the minimum and get a better price.

Thanks

Same here, Sky. Everything just started popping up this week. Last year I had more than enough for an EPA (Extreme Pale Ale), and that was after transferring from a pot (where they had grown for four years) to the ground in mid-May, which set them back a bit. This year I'm expecting to have hops growing out of my ears!

I've found that Azalea food really helps.
