Updated picture of the brewstand, it would be all finished if I could get the gas lines working right :/

What type of problems with the gas lines?

Well, I can barely crack the propane tank valve without it shutting off, which usually means a leak, I went through all the joints with a spray bottle and found one slow leak that I fixed but I could still smell gas, then I realized the gas is coming out of both burners even with the regulator valves closed which really irratates me because those valves were expensive from Bassemeiers. I dont know why gas is coming out of the burners with the valves closed. So I'm thinking about changing the valves out but Im not sure to what. I was thinking about ordering these:

Pardon the pun, but I'm really starting to get "burned out" on this

changed the regulators out on the brewstand, there are gas ball valves at home depot for $8 that work way better then the $30 regulators from Bassemiers. Burners are still real weak tho, maybe the regulator on the tank??

Do you know specifically about each burner. i.e. are they low pressure or high pressure [regulator] burners? If you are effectively using two regulators in series this could be the problem. You simply may need a high pressure regulator for the larger burner. I know my banjo burner needs a HP regulator. If the smaller burner is a low pressure burner you cannot connect it to the HP [20-30psi] regulator. Be careful.

The turkey fryer burner is 0-10psi and the Banjo burner is 0-30psi, so does that make one low pressure and the other high pressure? I was thinking that if I put the regulators before the burners instead of at the tank it would not matter if they were different. I don't really understand what the metal thing is that I hook up to the tank but I am thinking that it keeps the gas at low pressure which is why the burners are still really weak even with the knobs turned all the way open. I would think that if the turkey fryer is low pressure and the metal thing on the tank is low pressure as well then at least that burner would be working well but its not.

I guess the correct way is to put the proper regulator at each burner and run tank pressure as a manifold on the sculpture but that is dangerous. You cannot feed one regulator with another in a series arrangement. Similarly, you DO NOT want to send the output of the 30 psi regulator ino a 10 psi burner - BE VERY CAREFUL!

Im thinking eventually I would like all the burners to be the same but at this time I cant afford it. If i put an adjustable 30psi high pressure regulator at the tank but keep the 10psi regulator before the burner shouldnt that keep the pressure on the burner at 10psi or less?

Is the regulator you have coming off your tank the 30 psi?
Does that regulator feed your 30 psi burner, and the 10 psi regulator?
if so, 1 or both of the burners may be starved for fuel.

A solution to avoid burner starvation would be to run the tank direct feed with large ID tube or pipe, then "T" that line and have the regulators to each burner separate.
You gonna buy one, or be one?
.....I'm gonna be one!

The regulator running off of the propane tank to the black iron pipe is just a little metal regulator, no knob on it or anything. I got it from Lowes, it said "type 1 regulator". Im thinking its a low pressure regulator used for barbeque grills with little burners. I think I need to replace it with a 30psi high pressure regulator. I think it will be ok to run the 10 psi burner off of it because i have the 10 psi regulator coming off of the black iron pipe to the burner. the other burner has a ball valve so it wouldn't need another regulator. I don't think the burners are starved for gas from having multiple burners on the same line because I would only run one burner at a time.

Does anyone have a 30 psi regulator hose I can try out this weekend? It's too late to order one now..

I believe Menards carries them, but I won't swear to it. I can check at lunch if you'd like.

If you look carefully I'm pretty sure that Rural King does carry a 30psi regulator

I went by Menard's and couldn't find what you needed. In the past they've had a lot of accessories, but I think they've not yet transitioned to their spring inventory.
