I have, I never dimpled the opening but will try that next.
I have an old keg in the back yard that I've practiced on, it has several cracks where I overheated the keg.
Your welcome to borrow it, I just keep it around as a practice tool.

Here's the new brew setup. 2 months in the planning, 3 weeks in the build.

All you need now is some gold accents making it a Purdue upgrade rig!
You gonna buy one, or be one?

I have all the parts to build a two tap jockey box. I will need to drill some 7/8" holes. Would it be best to use a hole saw or would a spade bit do as well?

I may even build it at the LTHD on Saturday. Thanks.

A good friends son brought back a souvenir from spring break. Not totally sure of the legalities of this but I am making a new mash tun.

Built a grinder jig and had the top out in 15 minutes.

Drilled and ready for welding. Putting two bungs in for thermometer. I want to be able to move it depending on the grain bill. Now just deciding on where to put the fitting for the sparge water inlet.

An inexpensive and easy solution to keeping your homebrewed beer fermentation temperatures in control!

This is the Fermentation Cooler that we had at our last meeting.

I gotta have one. $175 seems pretty reasonable for this.
