Could someone post on when we are taking up our clubs entries, who is taking them up, where we can drop them off, and when they need them by?

Last meeting John Mills mentioned he may take them up there and that they could be dropped off at Turoni's. I sent him a message to check if that was going to happen and to get more details.

Re: 2012 Indiana Brewers Cup Entries, Info, Etc
Stewarding info from Chief Steward John Morrical. For past stewards, note the new venue. If you are going up to steward I have couch/floor space at my uncle's house over by the Indy airport. Make your reservations here.
Hello,
This message is going to those who have expressed interest in serving as a steward for the 2012 Indiana State Fair Brewers' Cup, as well as those who have volunteered as a steward in past Brewers' Cup competitions. I have spoken with many of you and exchanged e-mail with others. I am the Chief Steward for this year's Brewers' Cup, and hope that you can join me on July 6th/7th and help out as a steward.
Many of you have been a steward for past competitions, and others may be interested in participating for the first time. Either way, it is a great experience. It's a lot of fun and very rewarding. You'll have the opportunity to taste some great beers, hear first-hand what experienced beer judges have to say about them, and be able to compare your thoughts to theirs. For those of you who are brewers, being involved in the competition can help you to hone your skills and gain a different perspective on what judges are looking for in a great beer.
Stewards will be charged with presenting the beers to be judged to the judges in an ordered, anonymous fashion, ensuring that the judges have all of the resources that they need (e.g. cups, water, bread, style guidelines), and performing some record-keeping for the flight of beers being judged. No prior experience is required.
This year's Brewers' Cup competition will be held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Friday, July 6th and Saturday, July 7th. Due to the growth of the competition, we have a new venue....the Marsh Blue Ribbon Pavillion at the fairgrounds! In total, there will be 3 regular sessions and a Best of Show round. The Friday session will take place in the evening (judging is at 7:30 - stewards should arrive at 6:00), the Saturday morning judging starts at 9:00 (stewards should arrive at 7:30), and the Saturday afternoon judging starts at 1:00 (stewards not already there should arrive at 12:00). The Best of Show session will follow the Saturday afternoon session and precede the Brewers' Cup Award Ceremony. We will need stewards for all 3 sessions and the Best of Show.
In addition to the judging sessions, we will need a few volunteers to help out when brewers are bringing their beer to Sun King, the drop off site. Volunteers would help by looking at the brewers' paperwork and placing the entries on skids. We need volunteers for June 22nd and 23rd. Then we need approximately 30 volunteeers to help register/check-in the entries at Sun King on Sunday Jun 24th, at 10:00AM.
Please respond to this address to let me know if you'd like to steward. Let me know if you plan to be available to steward for all 3 judging sessions (1 Friday & 2 Saturday) or if you'll be available for only certain judging sessions, as well as whether you'd be available to help on any of the dates at Sun King (where they have lots of great beer!) For those interested, more information will follow, including a more specific timeline and a list of things to bring.
Lastly, if you haven't done so already, I encourage you to officially register as a steward on-line on the Brewers' Cup volunteer page at http://www.brewerscup.org/volunteer. Registration on the website is not required, but it will make it easier for me to capture your complete contact information and send you things like free fair tickets afterwards.
Thanks again! I'm looking forward to working with all of you and making this year's Brewers' Cup another great success. Please let me know if you have any questions. You can reach me by e-mail to jmorrica@sbcglobal.net.
Cheers,
John Morrical

I'm late responding... I'm not able to go to Indy to drop off entries. There was a member at the last meeting that says he goes to Indy every weekend, but I can't remember who. So please come forward, as I also have some entries to send.
