Imperial Pale Ale made it to secondary - looks good.

This Brewers Best kit had a lot more grain in it and lots more trub than the Northern Brewer kits I've used.

Of course, the puppies loved that there was a second batch of dog biscuits (from the extra spent grain) for them *grin*.

Great day to brew my DonWeiser.
Setting comfortable in its home for the next 2 months. just raised from 44 to 50 pitched and aerated.
90 min mash and 90 min boil makes for a long day.

I'm working on getting the manual process down for the USI Class in April. Did another batch of the Delaney Dark Mild (DDM) via BIAB. Raised the turkey burner up two sets of blocks and made a wind screen for it. Heats up real fast now! That is enough height to gravity feed the plate chiller. After it's mega cleaning last month, it's running great! Overall a good brew day. It still takes about 4.5 hours with setup and clean up but it should be doable in a three hour class if I do the prep before class and clean after.

I did catch my jacket on fire, well, the poly liner melted when I leaned up against the pot. That wind screen directs all the heat straight up!

Finally got my first brew day in this year. Brewed an IPA, and an Australian Sparkling Ale. Tomorrow's brew day is going to include a Wit, and an oatmeal stout.

Knocked out 2 more beers today: Belgian Wit & oatmeal stout. I'm really out of practice. It's amazing the little things that will make the day go smoother... Like enough sparge water.
If this non practice keeps up, I may have to go over to the Brew in a bag side.

Got 2 more brews in today: American wheat & Northern English Brown. Tomorrow's brewing agenda will be a Belgian pale & Hefeweizen! That'll have to hold until I get some fermenters available again. 8 beers brewed in 5 days.
