What are we making for Brewers Cup 2007
I've got stout made in December that should lose some rough edges by contest time. Also an American amber and hefeweizen. There is pale ale in primary-we'll see how that comes out. Might make a wee heavy also, but I've got to get going on that if it's going to be ready in time.

I just transferred a Belgian Dark Wheat and an Irish Red from the fermenters to the kegs. If they turn out OK, I may enter them along with a Centenial American IPA(if I don't drink it all first) I'm not sure which category that I can enter the Belgian Dark Wheat though.

Pale ale is good but I put in a bit too much crystal malt. Sweeter and darker than a pale ale should be. Not going to Brewer's Cup. I'll get rid of it somehow. Christmas ale from last October has really improved with age. Much better now than it was last December. It may go along with new batch of Belgian Strong Ale. At next meeting we may have to sample entries to figure out which categories to enter them in for the State Fair.

I will be going up to judge on Friday night. I have not gotten a room yet. If anyone wants to ride with me, I will be leaving early Friday afternoon.
I'm also going to BrewHaHa in Indy this Saturday. I know the club cookout is this weekend, but if anyone wants to check out BrewHaHa I will be leaving early Saturday morning & coming home Saturday night.
