Volunteers will need to be 21. Meeting sometime between 3 & 4 should allow plenty of time for setup.

Keith at SWIRCA will start setting up tables Saturday morning. If you want to help be there around 9 or 10 am. For OVHA setup, 3 to 4:00pm should give us plenty of time.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to make it to the event, but I would like to donate a keg of oatmeal stout...

Can I drop it off with someone beforehand?

We can use lots of help but part of setup will be handling alcohol from wineries and brewing distributers. We could still use their help setting up out booth even if they are not 21 years of age. Anyone not 21 years of age would have to leave prior to the event opening

Jeremy,

If you can bring your keg to Turoni's, I'll keep it in the cooler until Saturday.

After reading the posts I believe that you must have a license to serve--I do NOT have one.
You have me as a server on the "to do" list.
I'll still be there about 3 to "help".
See you,

We were able to get a babysitter, so Elaine will be coming with me. She doesn't have an orange shirt, so will we have some there to purchase?

Jack, I have several kegs also. When could I bring them to Turoni's?

I have a comment:

Last year, I was stuck for both shifts in the same spot indoors without a partner or any clear sense of who I could ask to cover while I took a piss. Honestly, it sucked. I finally just walked off and spent some time enjoying the festival. The distributor rep was an ass, didn't even say thank you. It was enough for me to question whether or not to volunteer as a server this year. I'd much rather run ice every now and then than be put in that position again.

This year, I would like to be stationed in the OVHA booth during at least one of the shifts.

Tap equipment has been rinsed today. I have added the extensions to the cart so we can ice down the kegs. We have 26 taps available. 12 on the cart, 7 on the red jockey box & my new 7 tap jockey box. Less than that has been posted so we should be good. There is some missing equipment. The 4-pass gas manifold for the red tap box is missing. I have a 3-pass gass manifold, but it has no quick connects on it. We had bought 2 4-pass manifolds before Zoo Brew for that box so I expect someone has them. Also, the tool box & handles are not with the cart. 4 of the 12 pitchers are gone.

We have two CO2 tanks, but only one regulator. We could use an extra CO2 tank and regulators. We have ice tubs for about 28 kegs. Hopefully somebody has the missing gas fittings. If not we need 7 gas quick connects and a 4 pass manifold.

I will probably be at Turoni's or SWIRCA around 3:00 to 3:30 tomorrow afternoon.

I'm not sure how the stuff got packed up after the Zoo but I do have the tool box and signage. Further checking shows that I have tap handles and the seven gas line manuifold.
I can bring my CO2 bottle and regulator as well. I'll be at Turoni's around 3.

SWIRCA help for Setup, Cleanup and Servers

Michael, thats not how it supposed to work at all. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. We'll try to be sure that doesn't happen this year. Let's all look over the server schedule that swirca has and make sure each only has one session pouring for the vendors.

Jack, if I come to Turoni's a bit earlier to grab a bite, will someone be able to put my kegs in the cooler?

I dropped my keg off Friday afternoon and someone took it to the cooler.
