I need 1.50 oz Goldings, East Kent for my brew on Saturday.
If someone has a little extra, and can bring them to the meeting tonight, I will pay, trade or replace them.
Thanks
Don

I can't make the meeting this month but can help you if you still need it. You can just replace them sometime would be fine. Let me know if you need it.

Don, was it you mentioned hops for $1/oz tonight? I didn't get a chance to follow up on that, what's that about?

Yes
I said that the Co-Op in Mt Vernon still has hops hanging on their board and some are @$1 and oz. but the date on the label is 2005. ( I didn't buy any of these)
and talking to Jeff Smith, he bought hops on-line by the pond. I think he said (and you have to bear with me I had many samples of John Mill's Imperial Stout) 4 pounds for @ $78 (4 * 16 = 64) so If my math is right that was @ $1.28 a pound.
Check with Jeff for these facts. (brewsmith)
Had a great time tonight and had some Great beers!!!

Actually the cost was $76.50 plus $13.15 for shipping. This works out to $1.40 per ounce. Still, by far the best delivered prices I've seen.

I was only off $0.12, not bad considering all I sampled last light.BREWsmith wrote:Actually the cost was $76.50 plus $13.15 for shipping. This works out to $1.40 per ounce. Still, by far the best delivered prices I've seen.

Did you find some hops Don? I've been out of town and couldn't make the meeting. I have some EKGs in the freezer.
