Can someone suggest a decent pH meter? Don't need anything real expensive or elaborate, just want to get a pretty accurate reading.

Reasonable price and accurate. You will need some 4.0 and 7.0 calibration liquid.

I've had my Hanna 98127 for 4 or 5 years now (and it's had a rough life) haven't had to replace the pH electrode yet. Most of your better meters will have a replacement electrode (sensor) and it a lot cheaper to replace it then the entire meter when it does goes bad.

I have had mine for three years. Replaced the probe once. Now I store it in a small amount of ph 4.0 liquid in the cap. Since that I have only had to calibrate it once.
