How long a liquid line should I use for root beer??? Using 20-25 psi on CO2??
Where can I get it on short notice?

Beverage tubing with 3/16 ID and 7/16 OD give about 2 psi restriction per foot. Line pressure balancing is important to reduce foaming due to co2 coming out of solution rapidly due to quick pressure drop. To balance a head pressure of 20 psi will require a 10 ft hose with the above dimensions. I've seen some beverage hose at the Co-op if you need it immediately. I have tubing at home I can get you set up with tonight if you want to stop by.

Thanks John I seemed to remember something like that. I went with 1/4" and went about 16' [to allow for the extra diameter and to all ow for standard barbed fittings]. Coop had everything I needed - thanks again.

I'm using 3/16" line, and I've found that you do need to use a factor that's more than half, like more than 10ft for 20psi. More of a 2/3 or even 3/4 factor.
