For sale: Carboys & Kegs

Post by Don » Sun Jan 09, 2011 10:11 am

She said something must go, and I'm not ready to so:

For sale
Carboys:
☛ GONE 2 - 5 gal. glass carboys with handle $20 ea.
☛GONE 2 - 6 gal. glass carboys with handle $28 ea.
☛ GONE 1 - 6 1/2 gal glass carboy $32.
The carboys are all used, have no chips or cracks. I have handles on all but the 6 1/2 gal one, (handles are to be used to help with the cleaning and not for lifting the carboy. Most of them have a thermostat strip attached the the side.

☛ GONE Kegs (15 1/2 gals)
1 - Brand new, no dents or scratches. This is a new keg never opened and still has a little Boston Lager inside. $45

☛ GONE 1 - Used kettle, Hot liquid tank or Mash Tuns. These both have been cut open and used before (but not by me) have 1/2" ball valve a second drilled hole for a thermostat. I'm sure you may need to replace the o-rings before using it. This one is in real good shape. $50

☛ GONE 1 - Used kettle, Hot liquid tank or Mash Tuns. These both have been cut open and used before (but not by me) have 1/2" ball valve a second drilled hole for a thermostat. I'm sure you may need to replace the o-rings before using it. This one has the bottom dented in but will still work fine. $50

These prices are ONLY for OVHA members. In a short time I will post what remains on Craigslist.

PLEASE PM me if you want to buy an item. If you have a general question then post it here.
Thanks
Don

Mostly;
The fermenter is sill at work (but tested out with several cases of drinking water) just haven't had time to get it home, and I have to make room for it. (reason for the sale)
I have a burner to add to the structure (I'm adding it to help when I mash large batches, I'm getting ready to do a Barleywine with 30# of grain) then need to cleanup the control panel, won't look as pretty as yours.

Hope to have all ready in another 2 weeks.

Have you broke-in yours yet?

When is you next planned brew day? I would like to come by and check out your process again. I am looking at how I want to incorporate the new chiller.
