Ohio Brewing Technologies LLC would like to introduce the HC-3800 Electric Brewing Controller to OVHA. The HC-3800 works with your electric kettle to control the heating and boiling of your water and wort, and is designed to be very easy to use. This product has been available for a couple of months, and we are requesting your feedback to make it better.

- Monitors power to prevent boilovers or scorching of the heavy first wort
- Automatically senses problems with your heating element or electrical connections
- Gives you the same level of control as a propane burner with less energy loss

If you like, you can connect your HC-3800 to a computer. With the software available on our website, you may:

- Enter the quantity and temperature of water, and automatically calculate energy required to hit your strike/sparge temperature
- View boiloff rate accurately as conditions change
- Track energy use with each batch so you know what you are spending on electricity
- Monitor temperature throughout the brewing processes with the optional thermocouple
- Configure the HC-3800 for use with your own kettle
- Record time accurately for heating and boiling phases
- Watch your 3 most important parameters from a distance
