I received this today. Any interest?

Dear Ohio Valley Homebrewers,

This year, Hoosier Beer Geek is helping the Brewers of Indiana Guild organize the Winterfest beer festival, scheduled for January 30, 2010. As you may already know, last year's festival featured a small homebrewer showing with some homebrewed beers available for sampling. This year, we want to grow this part of the festival! I'm contacting all of the official AHA homebrew clubs to see who is interested in being involved in this year's Winterfest.

We'll work on putting together an official RSVP form and sending it your way shortly if you are interested in participating. The requirement will be for you to bring at least 2 sixth barrels or firkins and a jockey box or other beer dispensing apparatus. We'll provide you with a table and admission for 2 to pour your beer and promote your club. You are welcome to bring any promotional materials, samples of hops and barley, or anything else you feel would promote your club and homebrewing in general. As a fellow homebrewer, I think the opportunity to share your beer with thousands of craft beer enthusiasts is incredible and would love to see the Ohio Valley Homebrewers Association there.

Please let me know if this is something your club would be interested in participating in and I will send you an official invite with more details.

Oh and one more thing, anyone who is pouring beer for their club will need to have a alcoholic beverage server's license. A volunteer license will work, since the festival is benefiting a charitable cause.

Cheers!

I might have some beer and I can go and serve. We can probably crash at my uncle's house if we want to stay the night.

Jack,

Did we get the "official invite" to this? Do they know we are coming?

Ouch, I forgot about this, and planned something else that day. What's the scoop? I might be able to move some things around.

I stopped in and picked up grain this afternoon and Jack mentioned that he had the invite.

I'm still planning on going and taking a keg or two. I'll take up some OVHA cards and brochures.

I'm going to stay at my uncle's house Saturday night. All are welcome to stay there also. He lives out by the airport.

Don, Michael, Dwayne, what are your plans? I know Jack is coming back Saturday night.

Anyone who wants to donate a keg, please bring it to the meeting and I'll look after it.

As of now I am still planning to go, but the Newburgh location may be opening late this week. If so, Nick our bartender may be taking our beer by himself. We may need someone to bring home the barrel. I hope to know for sure by the meeting Wednesday night.

I doubt I could get it in the car, but I believe Kenny said he will be up there the weekend after Winterfest and was willing to pick it up if needed.
