Best of Show and "Taste-Off"

The "Taste-Off" is an opportunity available to you. If you are interested in participating in this, you will need to submit samples of your products (up to 4) to South Central Radio Group. They arrange a time to host the "tasting," and then go on-the-air to discuss your submitted samples. If you participate in the "Taste-Off," you can even go on-air with the disc jockey to offer more details about your submitted samples. The "Taste-Off" and on-air discussions begin approximately 2 weeks before the festival and runs up until the event.

Last year, South Central Radio Group scheduled an appropriate date/time to meet with Jack Frey to do the "tasting" at Turoni's, and those OVHA members who participated in the "Taste-Off" met during that time frame, as well.

South Central will go to Turoni's again this year for the "Taste-Off" and if any OVHA members are interested in participating, then South Central will be able to do the "tasting" there, again this year. (Date/time to be arranged between South Central Radio Group and Jack Frey)

Please let us know very soon if you are interested in participating in the "Taste-Off" and if you would like to talk on-the-air, as they will begin scheduling dates/times very soon.

"Best of Show" is something we have added to the Festival this year. Attendees will now be able to vote for their favorites at the event on August 15. In the booklet, there will be a page/form for attendees to complete and submit to vote for their top 3 beers at the festival - Gold, Silver and Bronze winners.
