I was asked if it would be OK for the OVHA to sell food at the compitition. The Sportsmans club said that it would be no problem. So if anyone wants to set up a menu let me know. Jim Dippel

That's very cool of them. I do have a few ideas...
1. Chicken Legs - they're portable, easier to eat than wings, and tasty. Could offer BBQ & Jerk style.
2. Small steaks - something different than bbq might be interesting.
3. Brats in a Beer Bath - ties in with our brewing, and they keep for a long time.
4. Pork Chops - mmmm, pork.
5. Pulled Pork Sammiches - we could start it the night before and have it ready and pulled just keeping it warm. I have access to 2 smokers where I could get 4 pork butts done myself.
Thoughts ?

My vote would be for the beer brats. We can keep true to our roots keeping them warm in the beer bath. I would also include hot dogs, for the kids. But wings and legs would be easy also if we simply just fry them up, and offer different sauces or coatings like at Buffalo Wild Wings. I'm sure somebody has access to a turkey fryer
