We are meeting at the site of the festival at around 12:00-1:00. If possible, bring a fan and a chair. If it rains, the festival will be held indoors at the Ballroom.

I went out last night to spread the word about the festival. I put about 50 flyers on car windshields in the fox and hound and Gerst parking areas. Talked to some people in Gerst and got about 6 people, checked sales at Schuncks on the north side and they have sold about 20 tickets. Look out guys looks like we're in for good festival.

Chris,
Even though you are a loser, don't feel bad, I've only sold two additional tickets myself.

I've gotten a lot of verbal commitments, especially from co-workers. Most people are leery about buying an advanced ticket fearing that something will come up.

SWIRCA is moving the festival inside. It will be at SWIRCA behind Turoni's. We will need people at Aztar to tell people it has been moved.

I'll help direct people at Aztar, I just don't want to be there the whole time. I got my bartenders license to help serve beer and I also have family coming in to the fest.

Thanks to all for the help at the festival. I don't know any official totals, but it sounds like there were over 700 tickets sold. All the customers I talked to were having a good time.

If anybody has any outstanding tickets or cash, you can get it to SWIRCA.

Have fun next week at Jim & Cindy's. Think about me slaving away at yet another festival in INDY.

You had some very good brews last night. The IPA ( would like to know what yeast was used.)and Wet Puppy was very good, also liked the port. First time trying mead very drinkable. Good turn out. For the glassy eyed ones I hope the beer gods had some mercy for ya.

Everyone I talked to was having a great time. I know Josh poured the shit out of that Orange Cream Stout to the ladies. He ran out in a couple of hours.

A few complaints I heard was the shortage of the glass tasting cups. And I know some wanted to find a seat and listen to the band a little while and couldn't get a seat. And I had a little trouble locating some food around 9. Guess this has really developed a life of it's own as all those things represent a surge in attendance, which is a good thing. SWIRCA folks were talking about just keeping it there in the future and maybe setting up a outside portion so folks could go out there and smoke, etc and still have beer out there. Leaves room for expansion I guess.

I know I had a good time. I was just getting around to the wine when the lights came on and it was time to pack up and go :(
