Dry Beer

Why do most home brewers obsess on producing dry beers?It seems too easy;just make sure your yeast is adequate in amounts and other charactoristics and,BAM!,ya' got it. :razz: I find it much more challenging to end up with a brew that has Just enuogh sweetness to balance the other flavors without being noticably sweet.Albiet this is a fine line and open to individual opinion as to what 'noticably sweet is'.Percieved sweetness may vary from person to person.However,I make homebrew for ME.Others may enjoy it if they so choose :beer6 :beer3 ,but,if not,that's more for ME :beer10 :D :D .
