I have experimented with some brews that were amixture of DME and concentrated apple juice with varying results.Not all were good ,but the best one was lightly hoppped even though I have read that apples and hops don't go-together.Any veiws on this?

The only apple-y beer that I have tried is Ephemere from Unibroue. It is actually a wit with apples added. I thought it was pretty good. Not sure how you would go about producing a clone of it though.
