It has already been delayed 3 days for bad weather, but the current scheduled delivery date is next Monday, January 5, 2009.

Open fermenter you say ... what's it like? Do you have a link to a picture by chance?

Open fermenter huh. Is Turoni's going to branch out and make a Belgian now?
3 Floyds used open fermentation when they first started in the business in the '90's at their old location in Hammond, IN. but I'm not sure if they've changed since they've moved to their current location in Munster, IN. Most certainly they've expanded.

It is just like our other 4 fermenters.

Ahh, ok ... I was picturing some square tile-lined thing or something.

Are you having trouble keeping up with capacity or adding a new beer?

It is here. Should be hooked up and ready to use sometime next week. It is to increase production for the Newburgh location.

That's awesome. Right after I posted that, my father told me you guys were adding a new location. That's great news and I'm glad you guys are growing in these tough times.

The new Newburgh location isn't far from my house, I have room here if you want to get the open fermenter closer to the pub!
Just my little way of trying to help...

Is Turoni's expanding their brewery employee base also? If you need some extra help, I'd like to apply.
It could be a Courier Press story how Turoni's is helping bail out the auto industry by employing an unemployed auto worker.

An official opening date hasn't been announced. Jerry thought it should open sometime in March the last time I talked to him about it. I think there has been some delays since.
When they publicly announced the new location, they said it sould open by late spring. They never said what year.
As far as hiring any new employees, I doubt it. Corey is only part time now & he should become full time before we add anybody.
