New Microbrewery

Post by Jim W » Wed Jan 16, 2008 5:53 pm

OK, Dwayne is usually the one that gets to opine about breweries in exotic locales (you suck) However, I found a new one today on the road. Bowling Green Brewing Company. www.bgbrewco.com
I do not know what the beer tastes like, as I was not in a point of the day that I could sample it. But, I brought home a growler of Pale Ale, and Brown Ale. As soon as I get a chance to drink them, I will let you all know what I think. I will say that, they were very nice people (let's face it, I haven't met any jerks that brew beer). If you are down that way, give them a try. They are right of the parkway as you come in to Bowling Green, from Owensboro.
PS. I believe they said they are usually there for tours on Thurs, Fri, & Sat. 8)

Looks like a good excuse for a group road trip!

I'd be up for a run down there, if anyone wants to on a Saturday.
Probably could come up with another stop or two. I think there is a giant ball of string in Muhlenburg County.
