Brewers Cup Honors!

The OVHA had a monumental and historic night at the 2019 Indiana Brewers Cup!!
In addition to the FIVE ribbons we earned collectively, we were awarded a much more precious honor as a club.. one that I have dreamed of ever since I started attending this event. Without further ado- the OVHA was awarded the Bill Friday Award!!!
“BILL FRIDAY CLUB AWARD
A traveling trophy will be presented to the Indiana Home Brew Club which scores the highest average number of points per entry in the 2019 Brewers’ Cup. The average for each club will be determined by dividing the total number of points scored by the total number of club entries. To be eligible for this award, clubs must meet the requirements (defined in Rule #2) to compete as an Indiana Home Brew Club, have a minimum of 5 club members entering the competition, and submit a minimum of 15 total entries. Home Brew Club entrants must declare club affiliation on entry form.”
I am SO proud of this!!
To the best of my knowledge, the FBI (Local Indy Club) has won this every year since its conception.
On to our personal awards-
Jeremy Dunn
1st place- (Belgian Ales) Belgian Wit
2nd place- (Belgian Strong Ales) Belgian Dark Strong
3rd place- (Belgian Ales)Saison
Jordan Fehr
1st Place (American IPA’s) Brut IPA
John Mullins
3rd place- (Light Lagers) Munich Helles
Huge congrats to all who entered, as the club award wouldn’t have been possible with EACH one of your entries!!
