11/3/2018 Learn to Homebrew Day (LTHD): Sign Up Sheet

Post by Jam095 » Thu Oct 18, 2018 1:07 pm

Fellow Brewers,

As briefly mentioned during the September meeting, we will be hosting the 2018 LTHD at Henderson Brewing Company! Please see address below. The event will begin at 9 am on November 3rd, and go until everyone is done brewing. (Edit: I misspoke on them having a kitchen. They have snack food only. Josh or I will make sure we get fed well!)

The brewery will provide RO water for brewing, and I will bring my BIAB grain hoist for anyone that would like to use it. Beyond that, plan on bringing your normal brewing gear, and ingredients. At this event, we encourage you to brew whatever beer is next on your list. If you know anyone who is interested in brewing for the first time, or trying All-Grain for the first time, I would be happy to supply equipment and ingredients needed for one person to brew a beer that day. Just give me a couple of days notice to put something together.

If you are planning to attend, please reply on this thread so we can get an estimated head count. If you have any questions, feel free to call or text me (812) 217-2552.

Henderson Brewing Co.
737 2nd St.
Henderson, KY
42420

Cheers!
John

I'll be there!

I found out that I have a wedding to attend that afternoon so I may keep it extremely simple and knock out a quick extract batch or something.

Dare I?

I will be there for sure. I'll pass this along to Logan too and see if he is down to brew a batch. Belgian Tripel is next on the list

Come on out Dutch! We got a box of brats from Germania, and they apparently have a surplus of sauerkraut at Hendo.

If you're up for it, that Mac and cheese you brought out at Big Brew Day was amazing!

I can bring my charcoal grill along. I will make sure they don't have one there first.. Dutch, if your willing to be the grillmaster, that is always a treat!

Do we need to bring some trash bags for spent grain?
