Just FYI - this beer is last year's batch. The distributor dumped a bunch on the Evansville area a few weeks ago. While it is still probably awesome aged, it is also fantastic (and super hoppy) fresh. The new batch should be out soon!Dwayne_Delaney wrote:Seen at Quik Liquor:
3 Floyd's Alpha Klaus in bombers
Alpha Klaus is Alpha King's cousin. A big American X-mas Porter brewed with English chocolate malt and Mexican sugar and of course tons of strange American hops! Cheers.
For everyone I haven't met, I used to live in Evansville and was a member of OVHA. After moving home to Jasper, and missing having good friends to brew with, I decided to try to start my own club. I am happy to say that I have been the president of the Dubois County Suds Club since 2006 (although I still miss my OVHA buddies)!

PS-Have you tried the Bison Brewing Golden Bock, or Gingerbread Ale at Kwik Liquor.
They are not bad. I've come to like these, and at 4$ for a bomber bottle the price is not baa-aa-d. I was surprised at how much Gingerbread Flavor is in that one, but it seems like it masks some of the other things that might be going on in there.
