I have been looking everywhere for years to pull together a better history base on beer. I came across this book at the IU library. It's over $90 to purchase but I did see it listed at an owensboro museum. It's a remarkable read from a gents 2001 Doctoral Dissertation from UBC. Literally hundreds of references from ancient literarry sources to modern day archaeology have gone into this dissertation.

Anyway, thought I'd mention it to anyone who may be interested. Enjoy.
