I have a scale I can throw in the truck just in case. I will brewing my mill as well. I don't think it will hold up to doing all the milling but it can handle a couple of batches.

I have my part of the yeast washed and I'll finish the rest of the candy syrup this week.

Other than ingredients and your brewing equipment, there shouldn't be much you need to bring. I have filtered water, hot (up to 140%) and cold. I also have a grain mill, scales, miscellaneous hoses buckets, and etc. I have a plate chiller and several pumps although fittings may need to swapped out to fit one's kettle outlet.

Jeff, I think 8 am would be good, if that's ok for you.

Didn't realize I needed to reserve DME for BIAB. If there is any left I'll take it. If not I'll just stuff more grain in. No biggie.

Code: Select all

Name Description Step Temperat Step Time
Saccharification Add 40.77 qt of water at 156.7 F 147.9 F 90 min
Is that BIAB 10+ gallons with bag squeezing or un-squeezed? Damn that's a lot of water.

I'm not sure. I usually squeeze a little, but I don't know how to calculate that in BeerSmith.

I have 2 bags for my kettle, so if you want to use my DME I could try using 2 bags to divide the grain.
